Before dawn, all fishing boats in Fuji Harbor have already left for fishing. When returning at sunset with their boats fully-loaded, these fishermen would sell their catch directly at the pier. Dozens of seafood restaurants can be found around Fuji Harbor for visitors to either buy dishes directly or hire for cooking. Famous dishes such as blue crabs, three-spotted crabs, and stone crabs (best in early autumn) attract gourmets all year round.
